Maria Touch of Care Foundation (MTC Foundation) is a woman-led non-profit advancing gender equality, dignity, and well-being for women, girls, children, and other marginalised groups. We achieve this through empowerment, education, humanitarian response, and advocacy.

How We Create the Change

Gender & Human Rights

We address inequality by tackling violence, stigma, discrimination, and barriers to justice by promoting dignity, inclusion, and equal rights for women, girls, children, and marginalised groups.

Relief and Humanitarian Aid

Emergency response and recovery efforts that provide essential support and restore stability to those affected by crises, displacement, or natural disasters. Address the unique challenges women and girls face during displacement.

Education and Empowerment

Equal learning opportunities and access to quality education, skills development, and livelihood opportunities that foster self-reliance, confidence, and long-term community resilience for Children, women and marginalised groups.

Health and WASH

Addresses health, water, sanitation, and hygiene needs, with a particular focus on menstrual health management, awareness, and dignity for women and girls in low-resource and underserved communities.

Some of our work

Emergency Relief Outreach – IDp makeshift camp, Makurdi

This outreach formed part of MTC-F’s humanitarian response to the Yelewata attack, providing life-saving relief to displaced populations with priority on lactating mothers, women, children, and other groups at the makeshift camp.

Touch of Hope for Women Behind Bars

Reaching women in correctional facilities with food, dignity kits, and legal aid, this project secured the release of 20 women and promoted justice and reintegration.
